Under construction

It's been a mess here at the Plant City Campus Library, but when we're finished things will look great, with all new furniture. Here's some pics of what's been happening over the last week.

We're not quite done yet, but we will be open the first day of classes, Tuesday August 23, so come by and see how the place looks. Starting Tuesday we'll return to our regular hours of 8am-8pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4:30pm on Friday.

Lots of new chairs:

Inside@HCC

Be sure to check out the new issue of Inside@HCC, which you can find on the web or in print form at the library. It includes coverage of All College Day 2009, the volunteer cleanup at English Creek, the Veterinary Technician program, and, of course, our own Ask Me program where you can access library services on campus outside of the library.

Library card numbers changing Monday, March 1st

To coincide with the new HawkCard, library card numbers for all students, faculty and staff at the Plant City Campus will be changing Monday, March 1st, 2010. The number on your existing library card will no longer work after this date. This change will not effect your Hawkmail, Campus Cruiser, or Web Advisor logins.

Your library card number is now your seven digit student or employee number. This is the number that will also appear on your HawkCard.

Your PIN will not change. If you forget your PIN, please contact us and we can reset it to the default for you. The default PIN is the last four digits of your student number.

This change should not affect community or reciprocal borrowers. If you are a student at another HCC campus, your number may have already been changed.

If you have questions or problems logging in, please contact us at 757-2163.
