New magazines

This year, the Plant City Campus Library has added seventeen new magazine subscriptions to replace many of the magazines and journals we subscribed to that have ceased publication. Some of them have already started arriving, so be sure to check them out. As always, if there's any magazines or journals you think we should be getting, we are always open to suggestions:

Welcome back!

Welcome to both returning and new students at Hillsborough Community College. As a reminder, HCC will be closed on Monday, January 17th for the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday. When you visit the Plant City Campus Library, be sure to check out our book display celebrating MLK Day.

Winter break closure

The library will be closed for winter break until the first day of the spring semester, Monday January 10. If you need assistance while we are closed, please knock on the front door or call 757-2163.

Thanksgiving holiday

HCC will be closed Thursday the 25th and Friday the 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume our normal hours on Monday the 29th. Before you leave for the holiday, check out our Thanksgiving display at the front of the library.

Veteran's Day

HCC is closed Thursday, November 11th for Veteran's Day. Normal hours of operation will resume Friday, November 12th.

National Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15-October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month. Check out our new display case at the front of the library. You can also check out any item in the display case - just ask!

Under construction

It's been a mess here at the Plant City Campus Library, but when we're finished things will look great, with all new furniture. Here's some pics of what's been happening over the last week.

We're not quite done yet, but we will be open the first day of classes, Tuesday August 23, so come by and see how the place looks. Starting Tuesday we'll return to our regular hours of 8am-8pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4:30pm on Friday.
